Ovens with convection/combination and grill/combination functions that allow you to set temperatures ranging from 80°C to 210°C. When using the combination modes, it's important to note that the maximum temperature that can be reached is 180°C, as the oven cannot heat higher than this in these modes. Some recommended settings are 100°C for defrosting naan bread, 140-180°C for baking gulab jamun, and 180°C for grilling tandoori chicken or fish. Use it for faster, more versatile cooking.

Defrosting takes significantly longer than simply cooking or reheating food. A good way to test if the food is completely defrosted is to try penetrating it with a knife. If the knife can go through easily, it is ready. Microwaves only penetrate about 4cm into most foods, so larger items like curries need to be stirred to defrost evenly. Once defrosted, food should be consumed immediately and not refrozen, as the texture and quality will degrade.
