Clean the inside of your oven about once a week or whenever you notice significant splatters or spills. Use mild soap and warm water to wipe down the walls, door, and any other interior surfaces. This regular cleaning prevents baked on food residue that can be harder to remove later. It also improves oven performance and prevents smoking or burnt food odors.

Let the oven cool completely before wiping down the glass surfaces. Never spray cold water or place cold rags against the hot glass as this can cause it to crack from rapid temperature changes. Gently wipe with a soft, warm cloth instead.

Before baking, brush a thin layer of oil or grease onto baking sheets and pans. You can also cover them with foil. This will prevent food from sticking and make clean-up much easier. Use olive oil, vegetable oil, or butter for lighter dishes and cream for more robust flavors.

Over time, baked-on grease and spilled food can cause unpleasant smells. Place orange peels in the cold oven and heat at a low temperature for a few minutes. The citrus oils will help freshen the oven without leaving a burnt smell. Do this as needed to keep your oven smelling clean.

Dampen a soft cloth to gently wipe down the control panel and buttons whenever needed. Avoid excessive moisture that could seep into buttons or controls. This prevents build up of dirt and debris that could impede functioning. Check the owner's manual for any specific guidelines.

If the interior oven light bulb burns out, contact the manufacturer for instructions on properly replacing it. Do not attempt to replace the bulb on your own. Special handling or light cover removal may be required to avoid damage.

Remove the oven door, glass, roller rings, racks, and trays periodically to wash or soak them in warm soapy water. This deep cleaning removes excessive baked on residue, grease, and food debris that routine cleaning can't tackle. It prevents odors and smoking while enhancing oven performance.

Place a microwave-safe bowl filled with water, lemon juice and lemon peel slices in the oven. Microwave for 5 minutes and wipe out any moisture or condensation after. The heated citrus moisture helps eliminate unpleasant lingering odors so food tastes fresh.
