A : A good rule of thumb to keep your food fresh is to set the internal refrigerator temperature between 35-40° Fahrenheit. If the internal temperature gets much higher than 40° Fahrenheit you risk decreasing the shelf life of your food and possible food spoilage.
A : Yes, consult your product manual for maintenance tips from the manufacturer. We have a list of general maintenance recommendations to keep your refrigerator running efficiently
A : Yes. We highly recommend purchasing an extended warranty that will prolong the manufacturer’s warranty up to 5 years. This could save you the cost of repairs over the long term.
A : No. A refrigerator can accumulate moisture build up inside that becomes frost.
A : Yes, refrigerators do make some sound while operating normally. If your refrigerator is making sounds like buzzing, hissing/rattling, popping, pulsating/whirring or air rushing, cracking/ thumping/creaking, water running, and gurgling/boiling/ sizzling, and the sound are not too loud, it is normal.
A : Some amount of moisture buildup inside the refrigerator is normal but if it is excessive, then it might be a sign of some problem. The two main reasons behind this excessive moisture are refrigerator doors being opened often or left open for long and blocked refrigerator air vents. Open refrigerator door allows the humid air inside leading to moisture formation. Make sure to close the doors fully closed all the time and minimize opening the doors. Also, keep the area around the air vents clutter-free and remove any object in its way for proper airflow.
A : Some reasons why your refrigerator door does not close properly can be food blocking the door, shelf or bin not placed properly, and unstable or wobbling refrigerator. To fix this problem make sure to adjust all the shelves and bins properly in their place and keep the food and packages away from the door before closing it. In case, the refrigerator is wobbly or unstable, level the appliance accordingly.
A : If you have to apply too much strength to open a refrigerator door, there is some issue for sure. It can be because of a sticky or dirty door gasket or seals causing it to stick too strongly. The simple solution for it is to clean the gasket. You are required to unplug your refrigerator and then, clean the contact surface and the gasket with warm water and mild soap. Rinse the surfaces with a soft cloth and the mixture carefully and then dry it completely before restarting your refrigerator.
A : Water in refrigerator defrost drain means either your refrigerator is defrosting or the atmosphere around is more humid than normal. Both of these are normal and the water will evaporate on its own eventually. In the case of a humid atmosphere, the water will take a little to evaporate, but it will. So, you don’t need to worry about it, just remember to clean the pan carefully once the water has evaporated
